He gave me so much more grief than the other stupid birds from start to finish.

I was really excited to use my various red markers, because the art I do doesn't call much for them. But I learned through doing so that a few of them leak, necessitating me breaking out the opaque white, which in theory is fine-- expect you can't draw over opaque white (well, I mean, you can, but it doesn't look good and smudges all over the place so really, no, you can't). 

Then I was like "Is he too rotund? I think he's too rotund" and folks, he was hella rotund. I just didn't realise it in the sketching phase because I was so jazzed to use my leaky dark red markers. So I had to fix him in post.

Those markers are in marker jail rn, btw (a cup on my desk). FFS indeed.
