Grippy Compression Gloves

When you absolutely have to use your hands, but they don't wanna.

These gloves are a game changer.

Nuts to the "not necessarily art related" talk. These gloves are for everything, art included. You need to grab a thing, hold a thing? These gloves will help you.

They do come in different sizes, and some will even give you a sizing chart where you measure your palms. Other ones you have to kinda... guess. But I went for medium and it worked out fine.

These ones come in multipacks, so you get 2 at a time. They're from Temu, although I've seen the exact same ones sold on Amazon, albeit for a higher price. I'll try and find a link to both so you can consider your options.

But grippy compression gloves = very yes.

First off, don't judge my nails. I have very little energy and on the hierarchy of Toren's needs, doing my nails is very much not labelled as a must.

I've tried a lot of compression gloves, with and without the grippy bits. I have to say that these are my favourite. The stitching at the end of each finger holds securely, so the seams don't come apart (I have 2 pairs of a different style that already need stitching), and the mediums give me just the right amount of compression on bad joint days to help doing tasks not a complete mess.

They wash well, although I wouldn't recommend putting them in the dryer, just in case. I've got numerous pairs of these in strategic places (bedside table, little basket by my bureau, in my bag next to an extra pair of grippy socks) and honestly, I can do so much more on my bad days with these lil guys that I can without them.

Easy to put on
Grippy dots give you the extra grip you need to hold things, open things, close things, you name it

The fingertips being out means you can still use your touchscreen devices
Comes in a range of colours depending on where you go
Easily washable
Multiple sizing options

Cons

They can collect pet hair. Don't pet the dog with these on.
Eventually the grippy dots do fade or rub away, though it takes a long time to happen in my experience
Some don't really tell you what size a small is vs a medium or large, and ordering off of Temu can be a gamble since you have to conser Chinese sizing (do they have different glove sizes? Surely hands can't differ too much...)
Some are sturdier than others
