So in 2023, as I'd mentioned in a previous post, I enrolled in a night course called Experimental Illustration. It got me to try all kinds of different things, but most of all, it gave me the confidence to actually try making what some would consider "real" art-- and to me, all art is real art, if that's the intention behind it. But some people out there have weird rules about what art is and isn't, and I guess we all have our preferences, but some folk get really incensed about things.

That said, it could be art, but if you don't wanna look at it then don't, that's all up to you. 

I don't want to see hentai. Or interpretive dance. Or tap, really.

Still probably art.

Aaaaaaaanyway...

My 4 original Stupid Birds were displayed in my college art show (I'd never been in an art show so I was all upons) along with the 2 more serious pieces I'd done. I've since done a few more, but since time is decidedly linear right now (don't @ me, I've got a lot going on rn and a dispute about quantum physics is not on the cards bud) I can't go back and put these extra serious works in the show. 

But, I can show them to you! 🙂 

And in a way, this whole site is an art show, so jazz hands all around. No, that doesn't count as interpretive dance, that's Broadway. Cool your jets.
